LTi is the lead manufacturer of cryogenic pressure vessels used in Siemen’s Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners and recognized as world leaders in the design and manufacture of high performance vessels and structures – using stainless steel, aluminum and copper – for demanding industrial applications in highly regulated environments.

  • Advanced welding technology: The latest cutting and welding technology gives LTi the ability to achieve welds of the highest quality and accuracy in a variety of materials. X-ray testing is used to non destructively test for weld integrity;
  • Specialist design support: LTi has the ability to Design for Manufacture, using SolidWorks 3D CAD and can test final designs for performance using Finite Element Analysis;
  • International expertise: LTi Metaltech is part of the LTI group, an international group of high tech engineering companies based in Germany. The group employs 625 people in plants in 5 locations with an annual turnover of €130 million.
